out living in the world, march & april (two)

GUYS, LIFE IS BEAUTIFUL. I know I've been missing here and I keep making promises that I'll come back, but it's hard to record life when you're actually spending your days in the moment. I feel as though I always wrote these words, trying to find life in them, trying to create life in myself by recording them, and it never did it. I was still searching, blindly hoping that one day life would turn around, and you know what? I made it turn around. I wake up every morning and want to live in the moment, and be here. I laugh and I play. I read and I write again. I feel alive.

And I probably am beginning to sound like a broken record. So, just hang with me, and take the photographs above as proof that I am not sitting on my couch eating cookie dough, but living and being stoked on, well, everything.

update, update, update (or rambles!)

I have had my little shop for a year and a half. When I started it I'm not sure I really realized the creative journey it would bring me on, and slightly on accident. This isn't a huge update, just a small update. I'm happy to say that even if I might not know the direction, I am growing into my own creative place in this world, and that is worth updating.

here we are now my friends,

The weekend was short, but wonderful. The wedding was beautiful, seeing my family warmed my heart more than I could imagine, and seeing my big brother cry as his beautiful bride walked down the isle will forever be a memory I refused to let go of. There is a lot that I could write, but after a missed flight and a day of traveling I am exhausted! I'll post soon, until then I leave you with a picture of my two favorite boys in the world. I am happy, and I am loved.

blech, sorry friends...

I have a riddle for you, what happens when you're twenty-one, think you're invincible, and work sixteen days in a row?

I'll tell you! You get a cold, a really bad fucking cold. Which includes you getting sent home TWICE from your NEW job. Yeah, it's been fantastic. So, Tea at Noon will take a little bit longer for my update, and you won't get 'an unusual lovestory, part two' until next week. I'm sorry, but it will come. Until then, I'm going to cuddle up, drink tea, and have my wonderful dude take care of me. Times like these remind me that I really love my Irish man.

in here, we are fresh

There are certain things in your life that make your realize that you need a fresh start, and for those of you who followed 'Tea at Noon', this is my fresh start from that. 'Tea at Noon' started as a blog used solely for pretty, inspirational pictures, and eventually it developed into a blog that supported my personal shop called 'Tea at Noon'. Now, don't worry, I'm not about to write a novel on why I decided to create a brand new blog and start all over, because the answer is simple: It is time for a fresh start. 

So here I am, a Southern California girl, born and bred, who has found herself in the semi mid-west in a city called Colorado Springs, Colorado. It's a transition, but it's an adventure that I've been waiting for.  This is a combination of a lifestyle blog, a fashion blog, and an all out honest blog. I won't pretend to be living a perfect crafty life, because sadly, there are always responsibilities outside of this world that I love and nothing is ever perfect. It won't be my best friend either, because don't we all have journals for that? 

So welcome to this new adventure, I really value every single person who reads these words, and maybe gets inspired by them, or feels less alone by them. This is an amazing community to be apart of, and never be shy, I am always open and welcome to meeting new wonderful people in this amazingly creative world we all love.
